St Philip’s is an Anglican Church. We usually have servers, robed choir and Chalice assistants at principal services. There is lay involvement in intercessions and readings on Sundays and principal feast days. St Philip’s caters for the spiritual needs and interest of all ages.
We have a Junior Church and an exciting programme of social events throughout the year.

We take our responsibility for Safeguarding very seriously.

Special Services, Events and Activities

Saturday 22nd January 2022, 4.30pm: The St Philip’s Players present an afternoon of  popular classical and Broadway hits. Admission free – a collection will be taken for church funds. Interval with refreshments. ALL WELCOME. 

Bible Study Group meets in the Church Hall, fortnightly on Tuesday evenings at 6.30pm commencing 25th January 2022.  

Thursdays , 9.30am – 11.30am: Baby & Toddler Playtime in the hall. £2.50 per family. (Weekly in term time)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: 
All our services are held indoors. The following arrangements are in place to try to keep everyone as safe from infection as possible:
 
  • Please do not come to a service if you feel at all unwell or have a high temperature or other symptoms that might be infectious 
  • If you can, please take a lateral flow test before attending
  • Face covering is still mandatory inside the church and should be worn throughout a service including if you join in the singing of the congregational hymns or responses
  • Please use hand sanitiser 
  • There are air filtration units which will operate inside the church and the external doors will be left open – so please wrap up warm!
  • Our welcoming team will encourage you to sit spaced from other people not in your household group
  • Please take a seat straight away and avoid mingling or moving around
