Safeguarding in the Parish

We take the safeguarding, care and wellbeing of children and vulnerable adults very seriously at St Philip’s.

The Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) is Mr Desmond Duffus – appointed by, and reporting to the PCC.
St Philip’s works to the Diocesan guidelines as set out in “A Safe Church” (updated January 2020) – available for reference in the Church or from the Diocesan website

Current edition of A Safe Church

We share a vision of a Church that is Christ-centred and outward looking. We seek to be more confident in speaking and living the Gospel of Jesus Christ, more compassionate in serving communities with the love of God the Father and more creative in reaching new people and places in the power of the Spirit.
